Job summary

Medpace is seeking a key manager to lead the Study Start-up group from our London office, guiding a global team and shaping strategic development. You will oversee regulatory submissions, client relationships, and identify opportunities for process improvements while working closely with the UK team.

Bring 10+ years in Study Start-Up leadership within CRO/pharma, strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset to drive efficient, compliant study

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of Study Start-Up leadership experience within a CRO or pharmaceutical company.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, documentation, leadership, team-orientation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer focus with ability to manage challenging priorities and remain flexible under stress.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience managing and developing a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute directly to the growth and strategic development of a large, global Study Start-Up team.
• Develop and identify continuous improvement opportunities of internal processes.
• Oversee Study Start-Up/Regulatory Submission activities and timelines to ensure alignment with SOPs and study protocols.
• Provide input on new business development opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
• Support the local UK team development.
