Job summary

Deutsche Bank, in New York, seeks a Senior Credit Officer for Structured Credits & Commercial Real Estate at Director level. You will oversee risk, approve complex transactions, liaise with front office, and drive portfolio integrity in a hybrid work model.

You will lead a team, mentor peers, and ensure adherence to risk frameworks while delivering strong credit analysis and clear reporting to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in corporate credit and structured finance.
• Strong cash flow-based assessment and equity valuation.
• Knowledge of credit documents and risk issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio comprising Structured credit transactions and Commercial Real Estate deals.
• Review and approve WM US transactions and manage risk on counterparties.
• Interface with front office, Lending team, and Relationship Managers on credit approvals and requirements.
• Monitor portfolio for risk, ensure compliance with policies and risk appetites.
• Collaborate with internal/external auditors to address issues and complete audits.
• Maintain accurate booking, covenants, and risk reporting.
