Job summary

Newrez LLC is seeking a Director Strategic Program Management to lead high-impact initiatives across Origination, Servicing, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Commercial functions.

Reporting to executive leadership, you will drive transformation programs that improve customer experience, efficiency, and revenue growth, while aligning stakeholders and delivering measurable business value on a complex enterprise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred.
  • 9+ years of mortgage banking experience.
  • Deep understanding of mortgage origination, servicing, and operating models strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading large-scale platform implementations, servicing conversions, or enterprise transformation programs preferred.
  • Experience supporting C-suite stakeholders.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director Strategic Program Management will lead high-impact strategic initiatives across Originations, Servicing, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Commercial functions. Working directly with executive leadership, the Director Strategic Program Management will drive transformation programs that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, revenue growth, and enterprise capabilities.

This role operates at the intersection of strategy and execution, partnering with business and technology leaders to define solutions, align stakeholders, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

DESCRIPTION:

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

Enterprise Transformation

  • Lead enterprise-wide strategic initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Partner with executives to identify growth opportunities, operational improvements, and competitive advantages.
  • Develop business cases, roadmaps, and implementation strategies.

Product Launch & Go-To-Market Execution:

  • Lead execution of new products, capabilities, and customer experiences.
  • Coordinate launch readiness across Sales, Operations, Marketing, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Technology.
  • Drive adoption and business readiness activities.

Executive Advisory:

  • Prepare executive-level presentations, recommendations, and decision materials.
  • Facilitate executive governance forums and strategic decision-making.
  • Present program status, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Own strategic programs from ideation through execution, ensuring business outcomes, organizational readiness, executive alignment, and measurable value realization.
  • Build alignment among stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • Resolve risks, dependencies, and organizational barriers.

Portfolio Leadership:

  • Establish program governance, executive reporting, risk management, and decision frameworks.
  • Partner with executive leadership to prioritize investments and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams without direct authority to achieve enterprise objectives.
  • Drive organizational readiness, change management, and adoption strategies.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred.
  • 9+ years of mortgage banking experience.
  • Deep understanding of mortgage origination, servicing, and mortgage operating models strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading large-scale platform implementations, servicing conversions, or enterprise transformation programs preferred.
  • Experience leading enterprise transformations, platform implementations, or strategic growth initiatives.
  • Consulting, strategy, PMO transformation, or business transformation experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting C-suite stakeholders.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Working on-site at assigned office location.
  • Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.
  • Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.
  • Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.
  • Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.
  • Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.
  • Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.
