This role is responsible for leading contract negotiations with dedicated suppliers/providers to secure optimal commercial and contractual outcomes while maintaining strong internal customer satisfaction. The position requires evaluating complex business challenges, identifying opportunities for process and service improvements, and recommending best practices that drive operational effectiveness. Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Proactively manage and mitigate supply risk by identifying vulnerabilities, assessing business impact, and executing robust mitigation plans in partnership with the PCS Monitoring Solutions leadership team.

  • Lead supplier selection and readiness activities for New Product Introductions (NPI) and supplier transfer programs, ensuring suppliers can meet quality, delivery, cost, and cash objectives in alignment with program milestones. Partner closely with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to drive successful outcomes.

  • Deliver sustained cost productivity, achieving annual product cost reductions of 8% or more through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, value engineering, and design-to-cost initiatives. Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams with a total-cost-of-ownership mindset while supporting logistics cost optimization efforts.

  • Develop and maintain strategic supplier partnerships that create long-term value for both parties. Negotiate comprehensive supplier agreements, drive continuous supplier performance improvement throughout the product lifecycle, and lead Last Time Buy (LTB), claims, and lifecycle management activities with a proactive and forward-looking approach.

  • Support supplier quality and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to FDA, EHS, transportation, and all applicable regulatory requirements. Champion supplier and component quality improvement initiatives that protect business continuity and customer satisfaction.

  • Promote a strong culture of safety and compliance by leading and reinforcing safe work practices, accountability, and adherence to company policies and standards across all procurement and supplier-facing activities.


Required Qualifications


  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in Sourcing, Operations, or Supply Chain and with a minimum of 4 years of supervisor experience

  • Excellent business/financial acumen, ability to act as business partner through horizontal teaming, with the ability to motivate, influence and drive change in a collaborative way.

  • Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills.

  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills delivering results.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to perform and produce results in multifunctional teams in a dynamic work environment.

  • Highly organized and detail oriented.


Desired Characteristics


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Procurement or Supply Chain Management

  • Experience as leader in an international environment.

  • Experience in a high regulated industry (Healthcare, Pharma, etc.)

  • Experience on Lean implementation and execution

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $164,000.00-$246,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
