Join to apply for the Director - Strategic Accounts (REMOTE) role at Regal Rexnord

Position Summary: Responsible for driving growth through a large, complex strategic account in our Power Efficiency Solutions (PES) segment by securing existing business, winning share from competition, and growing with value-added opportunities. A successful approach will require supporting an existing contract, building strategy for future negotiations, driving projects to completion, maintaining excellent customer service, and aligning on long-term product roadmaps.

PES is one of three operating segments with approximately $1.7 billion in revenue, producing electric motors, variable speed controls, and air moving solutions for various markets including residential heating, water heating, commercial refrigeration, and OEM and aftermarket products. Brands include Genteq motors, Fasco, Elco, DEC Star, Leeson, and others.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategies for multiyear contracts and extensions through cross-functional collaboration and understanding customer motivations.
  • Drive growth initiatives to expand market share and enhance product development integration.
  • Manage and develop dedicated account support teams, collaborating with shared resources.
  • Analyze customer data and market trends to optimize forecasting accuracy.
  • Control inventory levels and receivables.
  • Coordinate with engineering, legal, and other departments on technical and contractual documentation.
  • Utilize CRM effectively to track growth opportunities and projects.
  • Respond promptly to internal and customer inquiries.
  • Oversee delivery of sales quotes and adherence to pricing strategies.
  • Engage in ongoing product training and self-education to deepen industry knowledge.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • 10+ years’ experience in industrial sales, selling to OEMs and/or wholesale distributors.
  • Experience in sales, product, engineering, or marketing management.
  • Proven ability to build and convert CRM opportunity funnels.
  • Strong customer relationship skills, including at the executive level.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate teams.
  • Experience in developing go-to-market strategies and sales plans.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to work independently and remotely.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Track record of profitable growth.
  • Experience with Power BI and other forecasting tools.
  • Familiarity with 80/20 and Policy Deployment methodologies.
Compensation & Benefits:

Pay transparency: $155,000 - $190,000 base salary + 30% variable. Benefits include health coverage, spending accounts, paid time off, 401k with matching, insurance, tuition assistance, and more.
