Reporting to the Vice President of Solutions Architecture, you will lead a team of Solution Architects while partnering closely with Sales, Solutions Architecture, Product, Product Marketing, Enablement, and other cross-functional teams. You will serve as a key scaling leader as the Solutions Architecture organization evolves toward an enterprise and regionalized coverage model, including cross training and consistent standards across solution areas.

Lead Domain Strategy and Strategic Deal Engagement
  • Own presales execution quality for Business and Special Programs opportunities, including discovery, solution alignment, and demonstration strategy.
  • Lead the quality and impact of specialist engagement across Student, and Business opportunities
  • Partner with regional Sales leaders to identify market opportunities, priority accounts, competitive themes, and areas where both specialist and generalist expertise can materially improve outcomes.
  • Bring domain expertise and practitioner credibility into executive conversations, account strategy, business-value development, and enterprise sales engagements.
  • Ensure consistent value storytelling that connects district priorities to outcomes, ROI, and measurable impact.
Scale Regional Strategy and Market Expansion
  • Translate national Solutions Architecture and go-to-market priorities into domain-specific regional strategies and sales plays.
  • Help new and existing solutions expand into additional markets by identifying regional needs, customer requirements, market barriers, and opportunities for growth.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing on regional webinars, campaigns, conferences, associations, and other programs that build awareness, create demand, and support pipeline development.
  • Use customer, market, and competitive insights to strengthen positioning and guide strategic investment.
  • Translate national Solutions Architecture strategy into clear regional or segment execution plans aligned to sales priorities.
  • Help design and operationalize a regionalized coverage model that scales enterprise solution architecture across territories.
  • Drive cross training and readiness so teams can support platform and multi solution pursuits as Frontline scales.
Lead and Develop a High Performing Team
  • Lead and support a team of technical experts, and Solutions Architects with deep expertise across Student, and Business domains.
  • Create an environment focused on coaching, growth, collaboration, accountability, and high-quality delivery.
  • Drive performance management, skill development, and promotion readiness across the team.
  • Establish clear expectations for domain expertise, strategic selling, executive engagement, thought leadership, team enablement, and follow-through.
  • Assess SA coverage needs and recruit practitioner, business, regulatory, and domain experts as the organization grows.
Partner with Sales and Solutions Architecture
  • Partner with Regional Sales Directors, Account Executives, and Strategic Account Executives on territory strategy, enterprise pursuits, and complex opportunities.
  • Ensure the right specialist and solution resources are engaged on the right opportunities at the right time.
  • Reinforce a consistent presales operating rhythm, including strategic account reviews, pursuit planning, engagement readiness, and prioritization.
  • Support Solution Architects with domain-specific guidance while preserving their ownership of solution mapping, demonstrations, and technical validation.
Strengthen Product Alignment and Team Readiness
  • Serve as a leadership connection between domain specialists and Product, Product Marketing, and Enablement.
  • Translate product releases and roadmap developments into relevant market strategies, sales plays, and field-readiness priorities.
  • Develop reusable content, training, talk tracks, and readiness standards that increase domain fluency across the Solutions Architecture team.
  • Bring forward customer feedback, competitive insights, product gaps, and emerging market needs to inform improvements and prioritization.
  • Scale expertise across the organization, so Frontline is not dependent on any single specialist.
  • Bring your own technical expertise to the team to lead by example and support technical mastery
Drive Standards and Continuous Improvement
  • Establish repeatable approaches for specialist engagement, strategic-deal support, domain enablement, and market development.
  • Partner with Enablement to improve field readiness, reusable assets, and consistent messaging.
  • Use data and modern tools to understand specialist utilization, pipeline influence, market expansion, and strategic-deal outcomes.
  • Contribute to a culture where teams learn continuously, test new approaches, and apply technology thoughtfully.
Represent Frontline in Key Engagements and Events
  • Represent Frontline in executive customer conversations, regional events, conferences, associations, webinars, and strategic engagements.
  • Develop and communicate credible points of view on emerging K-12 business and operational challenges.
  • Use external engagement to strengthen Frontline's market credibility, build relationships, generate demand, and bring valuable insights back into the organization.
What You Bring to Help Us Grow:

  • Strength in regional strategy, enterprise selling, executive engagement, business-process discovery, and supporting complex opportunities with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to connect customer challenges to outcome-based narratives that reflect business value, solution capability, and real-world impact.
  • Experience developing thought leadership and representing an organization through conferences, webinars, associations, or other market-facing engagements.
  • Ability to partner with Sales and Marketing to turn domain expertise and market insight into demand, pipeline, and strategic growth.
  • Strong technical and SaaS fluency to collaborate effectively with Solution Architects and support their path to mastery.
  • Ability to interpret data and insights to inform strategy, improve execution, and evaluate impact.
  • Familiarity with modern presales and sales tools and workflows.
  • Willingness to travel 10 to 20 percent as needed.
What You Will Need to Thrive:
  • A leadership style grounded in coaching, curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Comfort balancing hands-on strategic engagement with broader team leadership and practice development responsibilities.
  • A collaborative mindset that brings together Sales, Solutions Architecture, Product, Marketing, and other perspectives to solve complex challenges.
  • The ability to create clarity and structure while building a new and evolving specialist function.
  • Adaptability in a fast-evolving environment where priorities, products, markets, and tools continue to change.
