Job summary

Performance Review Institute (PRI) seeks a Director of Engineering - Applications to lead internal and external facing software platforms. You will oversee teams including EAN, Mobilus, StandardsWorks, Curator, and WMI, shaping architecture, governance, and release processes.

Responsibilities include establishing engineering standards, scaling teams, and driving innovation across multi-affiliate programs. Hybrid role with travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in progressive software engineering experience with hands-on development
• 7+ years leading and developing high‑performing software engineering teams
• 3+ years designing and operating microservices architectures in production environments
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and modern DevOps practices

Responsibilities

• Lead software engineering standards and governance; identify issues and risks with mitigation plans
• Define and optimize team structure for agility, mentor staff and manage performance
• Set technology strategy and drive quality via automated testing and release governance
• Collaborate across business units to deploy solutions addressing key initiatives and revenue opportunities
• Monitor and manage budgets for software engineering teams
