Job summary

Responsibilities include setting strategy, leading competitive bids, mentoring teams, and driving win rates while coordinating with Sales, Engineering, Product, Pricing, Legal, and Operations to ensure disciplined execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in SLED capture, proposal, or business development leadership.
• Strong understanding of SLED procurement processes, state contracting mechanisms, and funding sources.
• Proven experience leading teams and influencing across matrixed organizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management, prioritization, and organization skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute capture strategies for high-value SLED opportunities across state agencies, municipalities, education, and healthcare.
• Lead proposal development for competitive SLED bids with clarity, compliance, and differentiation.
• Lead, mentor, and scale SLED capture and proposal teams; manage external vendors.
• Engage with executives, partners, and procurement officials to build trusted relationships.
• Own capture and proposal performance metrics and bid/no-bid decisions.
