Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits is seeking a Director of SAP Basis to lead a global team delivering SAP solutions on S/4HANA and BTP. The role drives platform engineering, automation, and continuous improvement across hybrid cloud landscapes.

Responsibilities include upgrades, integration governance, and ensuring 99.9% availability. The ideal candidate has 10+ years leading SAP Basis teams, deep architecture knowledge, and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in technology management and staff leadership.
• 10+ years leading SAP Basis teams and IT programs.
• Strong business acumen and ability to drive strategic initiatives.
• Excellent written and oral communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP upgrades, migrations, and roadmaps to support S/4HANA and FPS/SPS cycles.
• Oversee SAP Basis operations, performance, and security across hybrid cloud environments.
• Drive Data Mesh adoption within SAP BTP and ensure API-led interfaces.
• Mentor engineers to develop cloud-native SAP platform engineering capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, high-availability infrastructure.
