Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Director of Salesforce Platform to own Ryder's Salesforce ecosystem, setting strategy, governance, and investment priorities for FMS, SCS, and RLM.

The role leads the Salesforce Center of Excellence, drives platform health, security, and data integrity, and partners with executives to align priorities and deliver enterprise value. The Director will establish governance that enables innovation while reducing risk, mentor distributed teams, and act as Ryder's

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, Required
• 10+ years in progressive technology leadership with enterprise platforms, products, or customer-facing apps, Required
• 10+ years leading Salesforce or comparable enterprise SaaS/CRM platforms, Required
• 5+ years leading Salesforce CoE, governance, and portfolio management, Required
• 5 years in executive stakeholder management, vendor negotiations, financial planning, and business-case realization, Required

Responsibilities

• Define Salesforce strategy, governance, and multi-year roadmap with CoE, aligning with sales and service strategies.
• Lead platform health, security, reliability, and risk management across Salesforce instances.
• Build durable relationships with cross-functional leaders to translate priorities into enterprise choices.
• Oversee architecture reviews, standards, and ensure scalability and security of solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships, licensing, renewals, and financial planning related to Salesforce investments.
