Director of Sales is responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies that drive sustainable sales, volume, profit, and market share growth across assigned geographies, customers, and channels. The role translates corporate objectives and annual operating plans (AOP) into actionable business goals, sales strategies, and integrated customer plans that deliver revenue and financial targets. Accountable for achieving optimum business results, the Director leads and develops high-performing sales organizations, including Distributor account managers, field sales teams, brokers, and other commercial resources, ensuring alignment with company objectives and growth priorities. The Director oversees the commercial business within their area of responsibility, building strategic customer partnerships and ensuring effective execution of business plans that drive sustainable growth and profitability. Responsibilities include directing sales forecasting, establishing performance objectives, analyzing market trends and customer needs, developing pricing and promotional strategies, and identifying opportunities to optimize product portfolios and business performance. Through cross-functional collaboration with marketing, field sales, national and regional accounts, and other key stakeholders, the Director implements best-in-class business practices that capitalize on growth opportunities, mitigate risks, and drive category leadership and profitable growth in assigned markets.
Ability to travel independently up to 50% of the time, including occasional international travel as required. Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving standards required. Most work is performed in a temperature‑controlled office environment. Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in the course of normal workday. Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties. Valid Driver’s License and driving record that meets Lamb Weston Driving Standards. May have to sample food while evaluating Lamb Weston products.

Pay Rate or Range: $164,470.00 - $246,710.00
