Job summary

Residing Hope seeks a Director of Safety and Risk Management to lead the organization’s safety and risk initiatives, shaping policies and ensuring regulatory compliance across all sites. The role collaborates with VPs, Directors, Managers and Supervisors to reduce risk and losses while improving safety for staff and residents.

The DSRM will manage audits, trainings, and incident investigations, and may serve as agency Safety Officer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field and 5–7 years in safety or risk management preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership, management, or supervisory experience required.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory laws and safety/risk management procedures.
• Experience with OSHA regulations in residential or similar settings.
• Proficient in data analysis, reporting and information systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise ongoing Safety and Risk Management activities for the agency.
• Oversee contractual security and compliance for the Enterprise campus.
• Develop and maintain safety/risk policies in line with laws and best practices.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to monitor and evaluate safety programs.
• Prepare quarterly/annual safety summaries and metrics.
• Facilitate safety and risk trainings semi-annually or as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities, vehicles and residences.
• Lead internal workers’ compensation investigations and liaise with agencies.
