Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri is seeking a Director, Risk Management to lead enterprise risk, safety, compliance and insurance functions in alignment with GSUSA guidelines. Director, Risk Management
The Director, Risk Management provides strategic leadership and oversight for the organization’s enterprise risk management, safety, compliance, and insurance functions in alignment with the GSUSA national risk management policies/guidelines. This position is responsible for assessing, mitigating, and monitoring organizational risks and ensuring that appropriate policies, procedures, controls, and resources are in place to protect employees, volunteers, members, visitors, property, financial assets, and the organization’s reputation.
The Director, Risk Management oversees risk management administration, risk assessment and compliance, insurance program management, safety and loss prevention initiatives, and organizational risk advisory support. This position serves as a trusted resource and strategic partner to leadership and departments across the organization, providing guidance on risk-informed decision-making, incident response, regulatory and contractual agreements, and the safe delivery of programs and services.

This position is full time with a competitive minimum annualized salary of$79,685.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee:
Work is primarily performed in a standard office environment with occasional travel to organizational facilities, program sites, camps, events, and other locations as needed.
May require occasional evening, weekend, or on-call availability in response to significant incidents, emergencies, or organizational events.
May require occasional travel for meetings, training, conferences, site visits, and other organizational business.
Ability to navigate and inspect a variety of organizational environments, including offices, program facilities, outdoor spaces, camps, and event locations.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time operating a computer, including navigating websites, software platforms, spreadsheets and both electronic and paper documents.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copier, and computer printer.
Occasionally positions self to maintain files in file cabinets.
May need to move boxes weighing up to 25 pounds across office for various needs.
The ability to observe details at close range and at a distance.
Is required to drive/ operate an automobile.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
