Job description

Midi Health is scaling rapidly, and we’re looking for a seasoned Revenue Cycle leader to partner with our Head of RCM to drive strategy and execution across a fast-growing, multi-state telehealth organization. You’ll oversee patient support, eligibility, and A/R teams, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and cost efficiency while building scalable systems that keep pace with our growth.

This is a chance to take ownership of end-to-end RCM operations in a high-growth, mission-driven environment—where automation, AI, and smart process design aren’t just nice-to-haves, but critical levers to reduce cost-to-collect and improve performance.

  • Lead RCM for one of the fastest-growing women’s health companies in the U.S.
  • Drive automation, AI adoption, and process design to build a scalable, cost-efficient revenue cycle.
  • Partner with leaders across Clinical Ops, Product, and Engineering to shape the future of telehealth billing at scale.
The Difference You’ll Make:
  • Serve as the primary RCM operator, setting priorities and managing a growing team alongside the Head of Revenue Cycle.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of commercial and government payor policies, ensuring workflows adapt quickly to changes and audits are proactively managed.
  • Identify and implement automation/AI opportunities to reduce cost-per-visit, minimize manual touchpoints, and streamline workflows in Athenahealth and related systems.
  • Support contracting, onboarding, and relationship management with commercial and government payors—navigating complexities like BlueCard routing.
  • Drive measurable improvements in cost-to-collect, vendor ROI, and denial prevention by aligning scheduling, documentation, and clinical workflows with RCM best practices.
  • Partner with Product, Clinical Ops, and Engineering on billing improvements, market expansions, new service launches, and partner integrations.
  • Oversee managers and supervisors, setting clear performance expectations and building scalable systems to manage growth without sacrificing quality.
  • Translate operational needs into clear policies, training materials, and procedures to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring:
  • 8+ years in Revenue Cycle Management with progressive leadership; experience overseeing managers/supervisors.
  • Track record overseeing $100M+ net service revenue, ideally in multi-state or large healthcare settings.
  • Telehealth experience required; Athenahealth expertise highly preferred.
  • Skilled in vendor management, scaling high-performing teams, and driving ROI on process/product enhancements.
  • Strong analytical chops with RCM KPIs; proven success implementing automation and AI solutions.
  • Change management expertise and ability to lead through rapid growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
