Zaddy Solutions is performing this search on behalf of a client.

Are you a master of the laboratory revenue cycle? Do you thrive on transforming complex billing challenges into financial success for your clients?

We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to spearhead our elite Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Advisory practice. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our consulting and auditing teams, serving as the principal strategic partner to our clinical laboratory and pathology clients. You will architect strategies that optimize revenue, solve intractable billing problems, and build lasting relationships with executive leaders in the diagnostic space.

This is a leadership role for a true industry expert. A deep background specifically within the diagnostic laboratory and pathology billing environment is a foundational requirement for this position.

What You'll Achieve

Strategic Leadership & Team Cultivation:

  • Architect the vision and strategic direction for our RCM Advisory and Auditing divisions, ensuring alignment with client needs and corporate goals.
  • Mentor and develop a world-class team of RCM Client Managers and Auditors, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and exceptional service delivery.
  • Establish and refine the operational playbook, building scalable processes, best practices, and KPIs that drive efficiency and client success.
  • Lead all aspects of talent management for the division, from recruitment and onboarding to performance and professional growth.
  • Act as the principal strategic advisor to C-suite and financial leaders at client organizations, guiding them through the complexities of reimbursement, payer policy, and revenue optimization.
  • Serve as the ultimate escalation point and problem-solver for our clients' most pressing RCM challenges, providing expert guidance and actionable solutions.
  • Identify and cultivate opportunities for strategic growth within our client base, collaborating closely with Sales to expand our service footprint and deliver incremental value.
  • Drive sophisticated payer contracting strategies on behalf of clients, leading rate analysis and negotiation tactics to secure favorable reimbursement.

Operational Excellence & Service Innovation:

  • Spearhead the continuous improvement of our consulting methodologies and service delivery frameworks to enhance client satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Leverage data analytics to uncover trends, identify performance gaps, and deliver actionable insights that inform both client strategies and internal process enhancements.
  • Oversee the health of all active client projects, ensuring teams are equipped to meet deadlines, exceed expectations, and deliver measurable results.
  • Forge and maintain strategic vendor partnerships to provide clients with comprehensive solutions that extend beyond our core services.
  • Non-Negotiable Requirement: Deep expertise in the U.S. diagnostic laboratory and/or pathology revenue cycle is mandatory for consideration. You must be able to fluently differentiate and consult on the unique billing workflows of both clinical labs and pathology groups.
  • A decade or more of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
  • At least 5 years in a client-facing, strategic advisory or consulting capacity, with proven success in managing executive-level stakeholders.
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience leading, mentoring, and scaling high-performing teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling strategies.
  • Strong financial acumen and an analytical mindset, with experience using data to drive decision-making.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% to meet with clients and lead strategic engagements.
  • Must ensure all activities adhere to HIPAA and all other relevant federal and state regulations.
