Qualifications

• Master's degree in Library and Information Studies (ALA-accredited).
• 7+ years of post-degree professional library experience.
• 3+ years of leadership with administrative/management responsibility in a research or academic library.
• Proven senior leadership success with strategic direction and organizational improvement.
• Ability to act as a trusted strategic partner to senior leadership and translate ideas into change.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams with focus on collaboration, innovation and service excellence.
• Deep knowledge of major research libraries, digitisation, digital preservation, technology and access/engagement trends.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Research Library's collections, services, programs, staff and facilities.
• Lead digitization and access initiatives to expand availability and reach.
• Manage the budget and operations and build strategic partnerships across government, education, and cultural organizations.
