Job summary

Georgia Tech is seeking a Senior IT Security Program Manager to lead a team of project managers delivering multiple cybersecurity projects within the Office of Research Operations. The role interfaces with OIT leadership, campus partners and cross-functional teams to mature cybersecurity programs and align them with business solutions.

The position focuses on program governance, dashboards, metrics, and stakeholder communications, with oversight of multiple teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven to nine years of job-related experience.
• PMO; Scrum Certification; CISSP; CISM; CISA preferred qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in cybersecurity programs for a team of project managers delivering multiple IT security projects, including large/complex ones.
• Drive on-time, on-scope delivery of IT security solutions with university stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and produce professional security communications.
• Define program scope, goals, deliverables; maintain the program roadmap with clear outcomes.
• Oversee dashboards, scorecards, and metrics; provide status updates to senior partners.
• Produce cybersecurity program dashboards and metrics for progress and execution updates.
• Organize workstreams integrating cybersecurity with business units; act as liaison.
• Ensure effective teamwork across multiple teams and vendors.
• Communicate program status and escalate issues clearly to stakeholders.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
