Job summary

Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease is seeking a Director of Commercial REMS Operations to lead REMS strategy and execution for US Commercial activities. This role focuses on risk evaluation and mitigation programs, cross-functional collaboration, and scalable processes that ensure patient safety while supporting commercial success.

The position requires leading REMS governance, partnering with Regulatory, Safety, Ethics & Compliance, IT, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years supporting REMS programs in pharma/biotech.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional leadership and compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead REMS strategy, execution, governance, and performance across products.
• Partner with field teams and patient services to educate on REMS and ensure compliance.
• Translate REMS requirements into scalable business processes and training.
• Drive analytics, reporting, and data governance for REMS programs.
• Oversee vendor relationships and REMS-related technology solutions.
