Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Director, Regional Practice to partner with physician practice leaders across the Central Virginia region. The role focuses on improving patient access, revenue cycle performance, and operational outcomes in ambulatory and physician settings.

Travel up to 75% within the assigned Central Virginia region is required. You will influence executive-level teams, lead coaching and change management, and standardize practices for measurable improvements while

Qualifications

• 5+ years physician practice revenue cycle expertise, including patient access, denials, point-of-service collections, cash performance, and revenue cycle optimization.
• 3-5 years' experience leading physician practice operations as a Practice Manager, Practice Director, or similar role.
• Proven ability to influence leaders, drive behavior change, and improve performance without direct reporting authority.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable operational improvements.
• Experience working within large, integrated healthcare systems or multi-site physician groups.

Responsibilities

• Partner with physician practice leaders to improve revenue cycle and operational performance.
• Identify workflow gaps, operational barriers, and performance improvement opportunities.
• Drive improvements in patient access, denials, collections, and other key front-end metrics.
• Lead onsite coaching, training, and change management initiatives.
• Standardize best practices across practices and support operational transformation efforts.
• Collaborate with clinical, revenue cycle, technology, and client leadership teams to achieve performance goals.
