Compass Group USA is seeking a Director, Regional Finance to lead accounting and financial activities across the district. The role involves forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis to support operational decisions. This position emphasizes accuracy, training of staff, and collaboration with sector finance to optimize working capital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience including revenue control and reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to prepare monthly statements and variance analyses.
• Experience with budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and KPI reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong prioritization abilities.
• Analytical mindset with solid organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting and financial activity within the District.
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts and analyses.
• Provide training and support to accounting staff and operations.
• Assist with ROI models and risk analyses for new business.

Job Summary

The Director, Regional Finance will oversee all accounting and financial activity within the District, including forecasting and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures financial statements are prepared in an accurate, complete and timely manner
• Ensures training and development of all accounting and clerical staff within the District
• Provides financial support and guidance to operations
• Assists with new business return on investment pro-forma including risk analysis
• Assists Sector Finance team with keeping operations focused on optimization of working capital
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent professional experience
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience (including revenue control, financial reporting, cash handling, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a concentration in Excel
• Demonstrated ability to prepare monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and analyses
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled at managing multiple priorities and relationships
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
