Job summary

SERB is seeking a Director of Medical Strategy for Rare Emergency Medicine in the US. This leadership role will shape the medical affairs strategy from development to post‑marketing, coordinating with Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to ensure data dissemination and product positioning.

You will engage KOLs, societies, and advisory boards while driving omnichannel medical marketing and evidence generation.

Qualifications

• PharmD, MD or PhD is required.
• 10+ years of medical affairs/MSL experience.
• Experience in managing and leading field medical teams (MSLs) desirable.
• Proven track record in acute care/hospital medical affairs.
• Experience in medico-marketing, customer insights and account management.
• Experience in KOL management, advocacy and scientific society engagement.
• Cardiovascular or surgery therapeutic area experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the US Rare Emergency Medicine medical affairs strategy from early development through commercialization and post-marketing.
• Lead expert insights, scientific engagement, real-world evidence, publication strategies, and IIS research.
• Serve as senior medical voice to KOLs, medical societies, and advocacy groups; develop advisory boards and scientific exchange strategies.
• Partner with Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Commercial teams for strategic alignment on data dissemination, launch readiness, and product positioning.
• Oversee development of scientific communications, core medical content, and field medical training across regions.
• Develop and execute omnichannel medical marketing aligned to brand vision for each asset.
• Lead product launch planning and ensure robust medical support and evidence generation for regulatory approvals and market access.
• Act as the medical expert for SERB US Emergency Medicine.
• Design and implement knowledge transfer and advisory initiatives.
• Facilitate IIS medical requests and engagement at medical meetings and symposia.
• Collaborate with SERB US Leadership Team for alignment and performance.
