Job summary

The Sound is a Global Exploration, Strategy, and Innovation consulting agency based in Chicago with offices in London and Vancouver. We seek a strategic Quant Director who turns data into revenue, mentors the team, and leads high-impact projects that address client business needs.

You’ll own the commercial impact of insights, challenge briefs, and build lasting client partnerships while guiding the quantitative team through research lifecycle with an emphasis on storytelling and strategic impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on quantitative primary (survey-based) research experience; 3+ years on the research agency side.
• Proven ability to win and grow client partnerships as a trusted advisor.
• Ability to translate data into strategic, revenue-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-stakes quantitative research projects and identify new business opportunities.
• Own revenue targets and demonstrate ROI of quantitative products to clients.
• Mentor junior team members and drive the research process from design to storytelling.
