Job summary
Humana is seeking a Director of Quality Improvement to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of enterprise quality programs across all lines of business. You will drive performance improvement, ensure NCQA accreditation readiness, and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize quality outcomes.
The role demands deep expertise in HEDIS, CAHPS, and quality analytics, with strong leadership and communication skills to influence stakeholders and guide strategic quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Nursing, Healthcare Quality, or related field.
- Minimum five (5) years of Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance in healthcare.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in quality improvement/compliance.
- Experience in fast-paced insurance/healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of quality measures (STARS, HEDIS).
Responsibilities
- Direct quality investigations, compliance oversight, and quality improvement operations.
- Ensure administration of the quality management system and oversight of reporting platforms.
- Lead NCQA accreditation efforts and monitor quality withhold performance.
- Manage dashboards and KPI analyses to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement program improvements.
