Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a senior quality leadership professional to lead and direct process improvement activities securing NCQA accreditation, optimizing HEDIS performance, and advancing health equity across products in Indiana.

You will collaborate with Medicare STARS teams, oversee risk adjustment quality, manage provider surveys, and drive best-practice adoption while aligning with state and local partners. This role emphasizes cultural competence and strategic process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of quality management, quality improvement or healthcare operations experience required.
• Current state RN license preferred.
• Certified Professional In Health Care Quality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate on NCQA Accreditation and/or HEDIS performance.
• Oversee quality improvement aspects of risk adjustment processes for all products.
• Collaborate with Medicare STARS team to improve STARS ratings for Medicare products.
• Oversee provider satisfaction surveys and implement action plans for improvements.
• Research and incorporate best practices into operations.
• Organize and control activities, methods, and procedures to achieve business objectives.
• Present results of improvement efforts and ongoing performance measures to senior management.
• Collaborate with State, County and local agencies to promote services that improve health outcomes.
• Promote cultural competence throughout the health plan with inclusive best practices and provider trainings.
• Oversee the assessment of cultural diversity of the provider network and credentialing recommendations.
• Monitor and evaluate provider practices through KPIs within health equity dashboards.
• Oversee population-specific activities and culturally oriented community engagement.
• Oversee the Cultural Competency Plan aligned with CLAS standards and priorities.
• Manage outreach budget for Cultural Competency programs and sponsorships.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Master's Degree Preferred

RN license preferred
