Job summary

Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) seeks a Director, Quality Assurance to provide strategic leadership for the quality organization across all locations.

This role ensures product quality, regulatory and customer compliance, and the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) for high-mix, low-volume and high-volume manufacturing. The Director will lead and develop the Quality team, drive continuous improvement, and partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible quality leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading quality operations across multiple locations.
• Experience supporting high-mix, low-volume and high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated success leading quality organizations through growth and operational change.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and applicable standards (AS9100, ISO 9001).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the quality organization across all locations.
• Maintain and continually improve the Quality Management System (QMS) including AS9100 and ISO 9001 compliance.
• Establish quality strategies, standards, and controls for product quality and customer requirements.
• Lead, develop, and build capability within the Quality team.
• Analyze quality and manufacturing metrics to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce scrap and rework and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Oversee corrective and preventive actions and root cause analyses.
• Partner cross-functionally to improve product and process quality.
• Maintain readiness for audits (customer, registrar, regulatory).
