General Summary

Qualcomm Technologies is seeking a bold, tech-savvy communications leader to shape and amplify the global story of Snapdragon across Mobile, Compute, and Personal AI—some of the most visible, and competitive businesses driving Qualcomm’s growth.

This role sits at the center of how Qualcomm shows up in the market: translating complex technology into compelling narratives, strengthening Snapdragon’s position as a leading platform brand, and helping business leaders influence customers, partners, media, analysts, creators, and consumers around the world. The individual will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of high-impact communications programs spanning product launches, flagship events, executive storytelling, competitive positioning, and always-on media, analyst, and influencer engagement. • Serving as a trusted communications advisor to senior business leaders, shaping programs that advance business priorities, strengthen reputation, and navigate fast-moving issues with confidence.
  • Driving breakthrough activations that move Snapdragon beyond product awareness and further establish it as a premium technology and culture brand.
  • Leveraging deep media, analyst, creator, and partner relationships—as well as a strong understanding of the global technology landscape—to generate proactive storytelling, strengthen launch impact, and lead competitive issue management across businesses.
  • Managing high-priority incoming media inquiries, developing sharp response strategies, and ensuring message discipline across sensitive, complex, or high-visibility topics.
  • Leading regional agency and in-house resources to deliver coordinated, measurable communications programs with global reach and local relevance.
  • Partnering cross-functionally across marketing, product management, engineering, sales, regional teams, and executives to create alignment, unlock storytelling opportunities, and represent communications plans at the highest levels.
  • Owning business unit reporting and budget management to demonstrate communications impact, inform leadership decisions, and ensure resources are focused on the highest-value opportunities.
