Johnson & Johnson is searching for the best talent to join our team as the Director, Oncology Public Affairs, to be located in either Washington, DC or Horsham, PA. The role will lead the development and execution of strategic public affairs and advocacy initiatives in support of Johnson & Johnson’s U.S. Oncology business. Embedded within the business and working in close partnership with brand, market access, Government Affairs and policy teams, this leader will identify and advance opportunities that strengthen the external environment for our in‑market portfolio and pipeline, with a focus on initiatives that directly support business priorities, patient access, and long‑term growth. This individual will serve as a strategic partner across the U.S. Oncology organization, building strong relationships with leaders in Hematology and Solid Tumor, as well as colleagues in Oncology Communications, Government Affairs & Policy, Enterprise Public Affairs, Patient Advocacy, and Strategic Customer Group. The role requires a deep understanding of business strategy, access dynamics, and the policy landscape to shape advocacy and public affairs efforts that are tightly aligned to portfolio needs and commercial objectives.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required with a preference of study in the areas of Political Science, Policy, Public Relations, Government, Community Affairs, Communications or closely related field.
Salary range: $150,000.00 - $258,750.00. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long‑term incentive program.
