Directs overall management of Project Management staff and is responsible for productivity, expense levels and asset management. Rarely becomes involved in day-to-day operations; is more concerned to see that overall budgets, schedules and performance standards are set, maintained and achieved. Maintains the efficiency of important aspects of the project management process such as planning, scheduling, and budget and risk assessment. May participate in defining and developing project management best practices, processes, and policy to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and goals. May collaborate with multi-departmental leadership and other stakeholders to locate opportunities and develop and prioritize projects according to relevant measurement criteria. Responsible for the supervision of Project Managers to ensure that all projects are delivered within the defined scope, quality, time and cost requirements.
