Responsibilities

• Support execution of key NFR initiatives and ad-hoc projects with project plans and status tracking.

Job description

We're seeking someone to join the Program Governance and Execution team within the U.S. Banks Non‑Financial Risk (NFR), to provide support across various strategic and BAU processes including program coordination, regulatory and Internal Audit exam support, and department operations.

In the Legal & Compliance division, we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firm's management of legal, regulatory and franchise risk.

What you’ll do in the role

• Support execution of key NFR initiatives and ad‑hoc projects, including maintaining project plans and status tracking.
• Coordinate across stakeholders of all levels of seniority and background to ensure timely delivery and elevate risks as needed.
• Provide overall support for regulatory exam and audit management, including assistance in drafting and gathering audit/exam responses and materials from contributors.
• Assist in organizing audit and exam materials.
• Support organizational and infrastructure activities, including budget and headcount tracking, business continuity, and location/space management needs.
• Maintain core organizational materials (e.g. org charts, staffing trackers, onboarding materials, distribution lists).
• Ensure materials are current, accurate, and aligned to organizational change.
• Assist in coordinating department events, including quarterly town halls and annual offsites.
• Develop executive‑ready materials such as presentations, summaries, and talking points.
• Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned across initiatives.

What you’ll bring to the role

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. college or university.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services, in a Compliance, Operations, or COO role.
• Proven project management and coordination experience, supporting multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience creating clear, executive‑ready content.
• Experience working across cross‑functional teams with strong stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage timelines, logistics, and deliverables with precision.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Interest in AI and automation tools, and ability to support adoption and process improvements.

Compensation

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long‑term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley‑sponsored benefit programs.
