Job summary

Persado in New York City is seeking a Director of Product Management to own a core area of the Persado platform and drive strategy through execution.

You will define the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics, partnering with engineering, design, data science, and go-to-market teams to deliver outcomes that matter to customers and the business.

You will mentor product managers and collaborate with executives to align priorities with market demands in a fast-growing, regulated industry.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management, including senior leadership experience.
• Track record shipping products from ambiguous problems with measurable impact.
• Strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution; capable of narratives and specs.
• Experience with AI/ML-powered products or rapid fluency building.
• Excellent communication to influence executives and cross-functional teams.
• Comfort with data, metrics, experiments, and evidence-based decisions.
• Experience mentoring product managers is preferred.

Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year base salary (which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, geographic location, business needs, and market demand).

What We Are Looking for

We are looking for a Director of Product Management to own a core area of the Persado platform and drive it from strategy through execution. You will define the product vision and roadmap for your area, partner closely with engineering, design, data science, and go-to-market teams, and be accountable for outcomes that matter to our customers and our business. This is a high-ownership role for a product leader who is equally comfortable setting direction with executives and getting into the details with delivery teams.

What You'll Do

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes for a major product area within the Persado platform.
• Translate market, customer, and competitive insight into a clear product vision and a prioritized, executable roadmap.
• Lead discovery and delivery end-to-end: define requirements, make scope trade-offs, and ship high-quality product on predictable timelines.
• Partner with engineering, design, and data science leadership to align capacity, architecture, and sequencing against product goals.
• Work directly with enterprise customers and internal teams to understand user workflows, validate concepts, and measure adoption and impact.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success on positioning, launches, enablement, and feedback loops.
• Define and track success metrics; use data to inform decisions and communicate progress to executive stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop product managers; help raise the bar on product craft across the organization.

What You'll Bring

• 8+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years leading product areas or teams at a senior level, ideally in enterprise B2B SaaS.
• A track record of shipping successful products from ambiguous problem spaces, with measurable customer and business impact.
• Strong strategic thinking paired with hands‑on execution; you can write the narrative and the spec.
• Experience working with AI/ML‑powered products, or a demonstrated ability to build fluency quickly.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence executives, customers, and cross‑functional teams.
• Comfort with data: defining metrics, interpreting experiments, and making evidence‑based decisions.
• Experience managing or mentoring product managers is strongly preferred.

Nice to Have

• Background in marketing technology (MarTech), content generation, personalization, or experimentation platforms.
• Experience delivering software for enterprise customers in regulated industries such as financial services or telecom.
• Prior experience in a fast‑scaling product organization, helping establish product processes, playbooks, and organizational standards.
