Job summary

DSJ Global (on behalf of a leading consumer health and nutraceutical manufacturer) is seeking a Director of Product Development & Technical Services in Indiana. This leadership role drives innovation, technical services, and cross-functional execution across product development, commercialization, and scale-up, with flexibility for hybrid or remote work and periodic travel to the facility.

The candidate will oversee end-to-end product lifecycles and align technical execution with business goals,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related technical discipline.
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in product development, technical services, or project management within regulated manufacturing.
Experience developing, scaling, and commercializing consumer health or nutraceutical products.
Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and stage-gate processes.
Minimum of 5 years leading technical and project teams.

Responsibilities

Lead new product development from concept through commercialization.
Direct formulation, process, packaging, and analytical development activities.
Translate market trends and customer needs into technical development strategies.
Oversee technology transfer, scale-up, and manufacturing readiness.
Mentor and develop high-performing technical teams and drive continuous improvement.
