Job summary

Vouchers 4 Veggies - EatSF (V4V) seeks a Director of Produce Prescription Operations to scale its Food is Medicine program across multiple geographies, focusing on healthcare referrals and payment structures. The role reports to the Executive Director and will build the infrastructure to support growth in health-system engagement and reimbursement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in a related area with 5+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated experience supervising staff and students in academic/research settings.
• Ability to build relationships, collaborate and solve problems with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with grant proposal development and administration.
• Knowledge of financial principles and budget practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of V4V within healthcare systems and payer networks.
• Establish and manage partnerships with health systems, insurers, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee contracting and implementation of payment structures.
• Expand operations to new counties through existing and new workflows and systems.
• Oversee referral workflows with healthcare partners and education campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with reporting, regulatory, and funding requirements.
