The Crown Is Yours As Director of Procurement, you'll lead a team responsible for procurement strategy supporting Technology & Product. You will partner with senior leaders to develop commercial strategies that support product innovation, platform scalability, operational resilience, and responsible technology investment. By connecting technology roadmaps, consumption insights, and market intelligence, you'll help teams move quickly while delivering measurable value and improving business outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Own the procurement strategy, supplier ecosystem, and sourcing roadmap across enterprise software, SaaS, cloud and infrastructure, hardware, telecom, data, AI, developer tools, cybersecurity, and technology services.
  • Partner with executive and senior leaders across Technology, Product, Engineering, Data, Information Security, IT, Finance, and Legal to align procurement strategies with product roadmaps, architecture decisions, investment priorities, and growth plans.
  • Lead complex sourcing initiatives and negotiations, including strategic software renewals, cloud and consumption commitments, enterprise licensing, AI and data arrangements, and global technology services.
  • Develop commercial structures that improve scalability, flexibility, accountability, and value, including licensing models, consumption commitments, unit-based pricing, ramp schedules, price protections, service levels, and performance measures.
  • Apply spend, demand, utilization, benchmark, and supplier-market analyses to identify consolidation, competitive sourcing, license optimization, demand-management, and supplier-rationalization opportunities across the portfolio.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Information Security, Privacy, Compliance, and Technology stakeholders to address contractual, regulatory, cybersecurity, and third‑party risks without compromising speed or business continuity.
  • Represent Procurement as a strategic advisor to Technology & Product leadership while advancing enterprise-wide procurement standards, tools, and ways of working.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement, vendor management, or a related commercial function, including significant responsibility for technology or product categories.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and developing Procurement professionals in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
  • Deep knowledge of technology commercial models, including SaaS and enterprise licensing, cloud and consumption‑based pricing, data, AI, infrastructure, hardware, telecom, cybersecurity, and professional services.
  • Proven success leading high‑value, complex negotiations and building category strategies for business‑critical technology suppliers.
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen, including experience with total cost of ownership, demand and utilization data, benchmarking, and unit economics.
  • Ability to translate technology roadmaps, architecture considerations, and business requirements into practical sourcing and supplier strategies.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and build credibility with Vice President, Senior Vice President, and C‑suite stakeholders.
  • Experience leveraging analytics, AI, automation, and procurement technology to improve sourcing outcomes, controls, and stakeholder experience.
  • Experience in sports betting, iGaming, fantasy sports, technology, financial services, or another regulated industry is a plus.
