Job summary

DrinkPAK is seeking a Director of Procurement to own end-to-end purchasing for raw materials, packaging, indirect spend, and services, partnering with Finance, Sales, and Operations to optimize costs and ensure supply continuity.

The role is based in Santa Clarita, California or Fort Worth, Texas, and offers a salaried, exempt position with up to 50% travel to support capacity expansion and new product launches.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 10+ years of progressive procurement experience in manufacturing or CPG, preferably in beverage or food.
  • Hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience required.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a track record of delivering measurable cost and supply performance results.
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively at the executive level.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into operational decisions.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end procurement and purchasing for raw materials, packaging, indirect spend, and services.
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with operational and business objectives.
  • Lead supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and ongoing performance management.
  • Drive cost optimization, risk mitigation, and supply assurance across the supply base.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of purchasing, inventory, and vendor master data in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Establish and maintain procurement policies, controls, and standard operating procedures.
  • Partner cross-functionally to support new product launches, capacity expansion, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor market and commodity trends and proactively manage supply chain risk.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing procurement team.
