Florida State University is seeking a Director of Clinical Foundations in the Office of Medical Education to provide strategic leadership for the pre-clerkship curriculum (M1/M2) and to coordinate assessment, curriculum integration, and accreditation activities.

The Director will oversee NBME/CBSE/USMLE outcomes, lead curriculum committees, and partner with course directors and staff to advance educational excellence aligned with LCME standards and the College's mission.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in undergraduate medical education curriculum development and course leadership.
• Demonstrated leadership in a school of medicine or academic health center.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Florida for physician candidates.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the pre-clerkship curriculum (M1/M2).
• Oversee NBME, CBSE, and USMLE Step 1 preparation and outcomes.
• Chair Year 1 & 2 Curriculum subcommittee; coordinate with other committees.
• Support LCME accreditation activities and alignment.
• Collaborate with course directors, faculty, and staff to ensure educational excellence.
• Lead Course Master Schedule with MED Administrative Services.
