Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years project management experience.
• Agile and/or project management professional certification preferred.
• Experience in a fast paced information technology environment preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with an operational focus.
• Vendor management experience preferred.
• Previous experience in the Insurance industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain partnerships with portfolio leaders to understand delivery needs and priorities.
• Ensure delivery of enterprise level projects within the portfolio to advance strategic objectives.
• Facilitate communication, problem-solving and negotiation across departments for alignment.
• Establish a project management team environment promoting accountability and growth.
• Validate frameworks for core delivery activities like planning, scheduling and risk management.
• Validate and monitor financial tracking and cost management for all projects.
• Promote collaboration across core project teams, vendors and impacted business areas.
• Coach and mentor project team members operating in a project environment.
• Administer HR activities including performance and salary reviews, ensuring policy adherence.
• Select, develop, motivate, and recognize staff.
