Job summary

The American Institute of Architects seeks a Director, Platform and Integration to lead enterprise solution architecture for Salesforce and AMS, guiding integration with digital products and other systems. You will interface with technology, business stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams to define scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Analytics; 8+ years in technical architecture.
• Strong experience in enterprise integration across Salesforce and AMS.
• Advanced knowledge of APIs, data integration patterns, and architecture best practices.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and roadmaps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide platform solution architecture and integration leadership across Salesforce, AMS, and digital products.
• Design and guide integration architecture across AMS, Salesforce, and third-party applications.
• Develop scalable, secure, reliable integration solutions using APIs, events, middleware, and data exchange patterns.
• Evaluate architectural risks, dependencies, and modernization opportunities.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to define requirements and implementation approaches.
• Support platform upgrades and major enhancements by assessing impact.
• Maintain awareness of Salesforce and AMS capabilities, releases, and patterns.
