Responsibilities

• Lead the advancement of personal lines strategic product objectives.

• Lead the development and management of the Personal Lines financial framework, providing transparency into growth, profitability, retention, and performance drivers to support strategic decision-making and profitable growth.
• Support the pricing and analytical modeling work necessary to meet the division's strategic objectives.
• Work closely with product managers and pricing actuaries to develop and implement pricing strategies that balance profit and growth. Drive continuous improvement to pricing sophistication.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the team.
• Set clear goals and expectations, and ensure the team has the resources and support needed to succeed.
• Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure alignment and successful execution of initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Job Summary

Work Location

This position offers both remote and hybrid work locations. Candidates who reside within 50 miles of an office location (West Bend, Madison, Appleton) will be offered a hybrid work schedule. Candidates who are fully remote (beyond 50 miles) may occasionally be asked to travel to an office location for in-person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and corporate events.

Summary of Responsibilities

The Director - Personal Lines Products and Analytics will be responsible for overseeing the functions of product management, product development, and data and analytics to drive profitable growth within the Personal Lines department. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities

Salary Statement

The salary range for this position is $157,900 - $197,375. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. Compensation decisions are made by West Bend and are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
