Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a board certified/eligible Pediatric Nephrologist to join the Division of Pediatric Nephrology. The physician will provide a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient kidney care, including management of acute and chronic kidney disease, renal replacement therapy, and kidney transplantation at Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital and Summey Medical Pavilion.

Travel may be required as ambulatory operations expand beyond the tri-county area.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible as a Pediatric Nephrologist.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient nephrology services.
• Experience with renal replacement therapies and transplantation.

Responsibilities

• Care for inpatients at Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital.
• See outpatients at Summey Medical Pavilion.
• Support ambulatory expansion and travel as needed.
