Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas invites a Board-certified/board-eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to lead the Pediatric Evaluation Center at the Texas Behavioral Health Center, integrating clinical care with research and education.

The role includes direct patient care, teaching and supervising fellows, residents, and students, with opportunities to contribute to innovation in behavioral health within a state-funded hospital setting. Texas licensure is a pre-requisite to start.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Direct patient care experience in pediatric populations desirable.
• Academic teaching and supervision experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care for pediatric patients in the Pediatric Evaluation Center.
• Teach and supervise child psychiatry fellows, residents, medical students, and APPs.
• Support academic mission with research and scholarly activity.
