A.T. Still University's Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) seeks a full-time Pediatric Dentistry Specialist/Assistant Specialty Care Unit Director for the St. Louis Clinic, reporting to the Vice Dean.

The role includes mentoring MOSDOH students, teaching pediatric dentistry, and ensuring high-quality pediatric services for patients. Responsibilities also cover supervising residents/fellows, coordinating educational goals, delivering coursework in Kirksville and St.

Qualifications

• D.D.S./D.M.D. with Pediatric Specialty required.
• 2-3 years of experience in a dental teaching environment.
• Missouri license to practice dentistry.
• Experience in pediatrics and teaching environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and evaluate dentistry students in pediatrics.
• Establish pediatric procedures with the unit director.
• Coordinate educational goals and competencies for student experiences.
• Complete administrative reports as directed.
• Ensure patient and student safety and report deficiencies.
• Supervise residents/fellows and dental staff as needed.
• Deliver didactic and laboratory instruction at Kirksville and St. Louis.
