Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking an established physician scientist/pediatric oncologist to lead efforts in translational oncology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified pediatric oncologist with a strong academic background in leukemia and/or lymphoma research.

Clinical responsibilities include caring for children with hematologic malignancies. Protected research time will be provided, tailored to the needs of the selected candidate. Applicants are encouraged to apply with their CV and a statement of interest.

Qualifications

  • Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics and Oncology.
  • Active medical license in the State of Maryland.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts in translational oncology and clinical trials.
  • Care for children, adolescents, and young adults with hematologic malignancies.
  • Align research activities with interests in pediatric hematologic malignancies.

Education

Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited medical school
