Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Director of Industry Relations & Contracting to lead the team negotiating rebates and discounts with pharmaceutical manufacturers, shaping formulary inclusion and budget impact. You will drive cost-effective contracts and support P&T decisions with financial modeling and forecasting.

The role reports to the Sr. Director and requires building cross-functional relationships, strategic contract design, and leadership of a growing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm. D preferred; MBA or related degree/experience desired.
• At least 5 years PBM/Healthcare plan experience preferred; strong emphasis on rebate contracting and formulary management.
• At least 1 year of contract negotiation experience with Commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare Part D rebate contracting (or equivalent).
• Pharmacist should have or can obtain an unrestricted licensure in Wisconsin.
• Up to 20% travel time required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with others.

Responsibilities

• Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with Pharma, customers, Navitus, and partners.
• Ensure appropriate Pharma sources and resources are in place to meet Navitus’ needs.
• Develop and implement strategies for a competitive Pharma contract structure with agreements, analytics, and audit programs.
• Work with Navitus’ teams to ensure rebates/discount contracts are understood and supported by P&T processes.
• Lead Pharma negotiations and explore opportunities to expand high net rebates and discounts for the lowest net cost PBM.
• Lead, train and develop the IRC team for career progression.
• Other duties as assigned.
