Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years of healthcare leadership experience.
  • 5+ years in payer/provider partnerships, managed care, value-based care or business development.
  • Experience with Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and D-SNP populations.
  • Ability to travel 30%.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in development, support and execute annual payer-specific growth strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination across shared services to ensure payer partners receive timely, accurate information.
  • Represent AbsoluteCare in executive meetings and industry forums to drive payer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Co-lead dashboard development and executive reporting.
  • Support contract renewals, expansions, conversions and amendments.
  • Identify opportunities to increase contract value and revenue generation.

Job Summary

This role serves as a support leader responsible for accelerating growth across existing payer partnerships, advancing AbsoluteCare'sstrategicobjectivesthrough strong payer collaboration,identifyinggrowth opportunities,optimizingcontract performance, and supporting contract operational performance in the assigned market(s). Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, this role serves as a strategic liaison betweenAbsoluteCareand its health plan partners, working closely with Market Presidents, Medical Directors, Operations Leaders, Finance, Analytics, Quality, Marketing, and Shared Services teams.


This role blends traditional account management/client success (i.e/service and issue resolution) with driving growth, strengthening executive payer partnerships, supporting revenue expansion, and ensuring payer relationships translate into improved membership, enhanced contract performance, and long-term organizational success.


Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Growth

  • Participate in the development, support andexecuteannualpayer-specific growth strategies with Market Presidents and the Chief Growth Officer.

  • Identifyopportunities formarket expansion,andmembership growthacross Medicaid, D-SNP, Medicare Advantage, HIV, SMI,CKDand other targeted populationswhere applicable

  • Support strategic discussionsand initiatives focused on growth, innovation and operational excellence that can include RFPs and other key company initiatives.

Payer Relationship Management

  • Develop trusted relationships within assigned payer partnerships, particularly with payer relations executives & other key stakeholdersand serve as the primary coordination point between payer partners and operational teams.

  • Lead cross-functional coordination across shared services functions to ensure payer partners receive timely, accurate, and actionable information related to performance, outcomes, operational initiatives, and strategic priorities.

  • RepresentAbsoluteCarein executive meetings and industry forumsalongside Market President and Chief Growth Officer to drive payer satisfaction,retentionand engagement

  • Support quarterly health plan Joint Operating Committee strategy, preparation andleadmonthlypayerexecutive operating reviews

  • Drive organizational alignment around payer account objectives by connecting internal stakeholders, facilitating issue resolution, and ensuring successful execution of contractual, operational, and growth-related initiatives.

  • Own the integrity and strategic value of CRM data by ensuring all customer accounts, executive stakeholders, key decision-makers, engagement activities, contract milestones, opportunities, and account insights are consistently documented and maintained.

  • Leverage the CRM as the system of record to support account growth, retention, forecasting, and organizational alignment.

Contract Performance & Value-Based Care Management

  • Maintain expert knowledge of assigned payer contracts

  • Monitor performance against contractual, quality, and SLA requirements and present updates to leadership

  • Identifyperformance gaps and coordinate corrective action plans

  • Support contract renewals, expansions,conversionsand amendments

  • Identifyopportunities to increase contract value and revenue generation

  • Monitor market dynamics and competitive intelligence

  • Co-lead dashboard development and executive reporting

  • Support implementation and readiness for new contracts and markets

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, public health, finance,marketingor related field.

  • 8–12+ years of healthcare leadership experience.

  • 5+ years in payer/provider partnerships, managed care, value-basedcareor business development.

  • Experience with Medicaid, MedicareAdvantageand D-SNP populations.

  • Ability to travel 30%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Human Resources Management (MHRM), or a related field
