Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted NYS medical license.
• Board certification or eligibility in Palliative Care (required).
• Leadership and managerial experience, including finance, quality, and resource management.
• Clinical maturity and experience in the specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Kings County Palliative Care Service to achieve clinical excellence.
• Collaborate with leaders to enhance quality of care for palliative patients.
• Provide direct inpatient and outpatient palliative care, including symptom management.
• Develop and implement the strategic plan for the palliative care program.
• Lead efforts for Joint Commission Certification in Palliative Care.
• Lead quality improvement projects and analyze patient outcomes.
