Job summary

FAM Brands in Beverly Hills seeks a Director of Packaging Design to own the end-to-end packaging lifecycle for a diverse brand portfolio, leading a creative team and partnering with cross-functional teams. You will shape concept, structure, substrates, and production, ensuring packaging is innovative, brand-right, cost-efficient, sustainable, and compliant with regulatory standards.

This high-visibility role reports to the acting CMO and Creative Director, Marketing Services, and involves

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a senior packaging designer or packaging design leader.
• Experience within club wholesale or fast-fashion packaging environments.
• Ability to mentor design teams and manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging creative design and production for multiple brands and licensees, from initial concept to final physical proofs.
• Oversee the full packaging lifecycle, including design, structure, substrate choices, and production of collateral.
• Manage and develop a team of 4 designers and 2 project managers, with dotted-line oversight of photo editing.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging is on-brand, functional, cost-effective, and compliant with sustainability and regulatory requirements.
• Assess, prioritize, and reassign workload and resources to keep projects on time, on budget, and on brand.
• Collaborate with global vendors and navigate fast-paced environments, especially in club wholesale or fast-fashion channels.
• Report into our acting CMO and Creative Director, Marketing Services, as a key leader within the creative organization.
