Job summary

Lightpath is seeking a Director of OSP Construction to lead all outside plant deployment across Arizona markets from Phoenix. The role requires hands-on field leadership, contractor oversight, safety compliance, and budget management to deliver large fiber deployments.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of OSP experience and 5+ years in leadership, with strong knowledge of permitting, utility coordination, and fiber installation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of OSP construction experience in telecom, fiber, or utility infra.
• 5+ years in leading OSP construction teams and large deployment programs.
• Hands-on with underground conduit, HDD/boring, aerial fiber deployment, and restoration work.
• Experience with permits, right-of-way, and utility coordination.
• Proven ability to scale large fiber networks and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee OSP construction operations across Arizona markets.
• Direct field teams, contractors, and inspectors to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Develop construction strategies to meet aggressive deployment timelines and commitments.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and vendor contracts; monitor regulations and permits.
• Mentor managers and staff to build a high-performing team.
