Job summary

NYU Langone Health seeks a Director to lead the GSOM Organoid Facility within the Institute for Regenerative Medicine. You will establish organoid platforms, scale gene editing workflows, and implement standardized SOPs to support investigators across NYULH.

The role emphasizes collaboration with faculty, postdocs, and core facilities, with a focus on quality control, automation, and expanding services over time to advance regenerative medicine.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD/PhD or equivalent in stem cell biology or related field.
• Significant experience developing organoid culture systems.
• Experience in SOP development, lab standardization, and QA systems.
• Experience with genome engineering and gene editing platforms.
• Strong collaboration with faculty and core facilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement foundational organoid platforms.
• Develop gene editing workflows and SOPs.
• Introduce automation to enhance throughput and capacity.
