Job summary

DP World is seeking a Director, Multi-Site Operations to lead a portfolio of logistics sites, driving top performance, customer satisfaction, and profitable growth across multiple facilities.

You will work closely with site leaders, customers, and senior executives to ensure operational excellence while building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Travel is regular across assigned sites.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in operating and plant management; logistics experience a plus.
• Experience leading multiple operations and coordinating cross-site teams.
• Knowledge of logistics operations and practices.
• Knowledge of financial management as it relates to managing multiple facilities.
• Ability to influence or persuade stakeholders to achieve concurrence on strategy and KPIs.
• Ability to present information to Executives and internal/external customers to gain agreement.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor operating results of facilities to meet budget criteria and customer requirements.
• Provide strategic guidance and leadership to direct and indirect reports within their span of control.
• Mentor others in leadership and development.
• Direct and monitor each operation within their span to ensure adherence to policies and programs.
• Develop and implement internal procedures to meet customer needs within budget.
• Establish standardized customer KPIs and report metrics on an agreed schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the Role

How you will contribute

• Direct, monitor, and accountable for the operating results of facilities to ensure budget criteria are achieved and customer requirements are met.
• Responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership to direct and indirect reports for the operations within their respective span of control.
• Mentor others in their leadership roles and ensures that leadership development takes place.
• Direct and monitor each operation within their span of control to ensure corporate policies and programs are achieved.
• Direct the development and implementation of internal procedures and controls required to ensure each of their respective customer needs are achieved within budgetary goals.
• Establish standardized customer KPI and other performance metrics and ensure these metrics are communicated with the customer on an agreed upon schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
• Experience performing professional level operational and plant management duties; preferably in logistics; experience managing and leading multiple operations is a plus.
• Knowledge of principles and procedures used in logistics operations and practices.
• Knowledge of financial management and principles as it relates to managing a number of facilities that may or may not be directly related.
• Requires influencing or convincing others within and outside one’s span of control to obtain concurrence or buy-in on strategic direction and KPI’s.
• Requires ability to present information regarding an idea or solution in order to gain agreement from Executives and internal or external customers.
