Job summary

CareOne in Jackson, NJ is seeking a Director of Wellness to lead resident care management and oversee clinical programs. The role collaborates with residents, families, healthcare providers and staff to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate services, participate in QAPI and facility surveys, and ensure adherence to the resident's care plan while managing budgets and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an Assisted Living community.
• Excellent communication skills to engage residents, families and staff.
• Understand senior care needs.
• Strong leadership skills to lead and mentor staff.
• Strong clinical assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, organize, and direct the nursing service department and its programs.
• Develop methods for coordinating nursing services with other resident services and outside providers.
• Participate in facility surveys and review clinical outcome data.
• Attend QAPI meetings and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee medication management and education for residents and families.
• Plan staffing needs and budgets for nursing services.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure resident care aligns with individualized care plans.
